Prepare for the Future with Cord Blood Banking
Umbilical cord blood is the blood that stays in the umbilical cord and placenta after the birth of your baby, and it contains special cells called stem cells that can help treat diseases in children and adults. Up until recent years, cord blood has typically been discarded after the infant was delivered, but now that we know the possibilities it can provide, patients can opt to have their baby’s cord blood collected and stored for future use.

We have experience within a tremendous variety of birth environments, from smaller community hospitals to large teaching hospitals, where we also participate as active mentors. Partnering with our expected moms on their preferred birth plan is important to us and we want to ensure the most favorable experience and outcomes. We support many natural and alternative birth options but agree with ACOG that there are significant risks associated with home births, and therefore our providers will perform deliveries in birthing facilities only, and do not participate, consult, or co-manage planned home births.
