Meet our caring providers:
Richard A. Michner, M.D.
Richard Michner, M.D. received his BA degree from the University of California at Berkeley, CA, where he was an All-University squash champion. He received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He had a Clinical Externship and an Internship at the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry at Morristown Memorial Hospital, in Morristown, NJ. He finished his Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, NY, an affiliate of Columbia University, where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Michner is fluent in both English and Spanish. The American Medical Association acknowledged him for his work in continuing medical education with a physician recognition award with commendation and holds national certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring. He is active in the medical community as a member of the Fetal Infant Mortality Review and Healthy Mom Healthy Babies Organization. He was Past President of Cape May County Medical Society and Past President of the Cape Regional Medical Center, where he currently serves on the Hospital Board.
In his passion for teaching, Dr. Michner served as Director of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA, affiliated with Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Atlantic Cape Community College and has been a Preceptor for the Physician Assistant Program for Arcadia University.
He has hospital privileges at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ and at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He is a member of the North American Menopause Society.
He enjoys living at the shore and playing golf. His three grandchildren, ages, two and half, ten months and five months can’t wait to play with their PopPop.

Dr. Milio is a board certified physician who earned his BS degree at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and achieved his medical degree at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ – School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital University Medical Center.
After completing his OB/GYN residency, he joined the United States Air Force and became the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the 90th Strategic Hospital, achieving the rank of Major. He proudly served during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After leaving the USAF, he established himself in private practice in Cape May Court House. He is also the medical director of GYN Services at the County Health Department.
Dr. Milio has served as the Department Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cape Regional Medical Center since 2001. He is also currently Medical Staff President and serves on the hospital board.
He is an active member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Osteopathic Association, and Cape May Medical Society and Cape May County Osteopathic Association.
His quality and compassion is demonstrated with a nearly perfect five star rating on WebMD for scheduling flexibility, courteousness of staff, as well as explaining conditions and treatments, taking the time to answer questions and providing follow up as needed.
Dr. Milio is very active in his church and has served on the church vestry for many years.
In his free time, Dr. Milio enjoys engaging in outdoor activities, spending time with his two adult sons, and playing with his two Siberian huskies! He is also an accomplished artisan in the field of stained glass creations.
Dr Alma Bustamante has been serving patients in New Jersey area for many years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of the Philippines in Manila and medical at the University of the East, College of Medicine in the Philippines. She finished an OB/GYN residency at St Luke’s Medical Center, Quezon City, Philippines and a practicing consultant for years.
Coming here in the U.S. she did an extemship at St Clare’s in Schenectady, NY and first year residency in OB/GYN at Our Lady of Mercy, now part of Montefiore in the Bronx, NY. She finished her OB/GYN residency in Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ.
She sees women across ages and orientation and tackles issues unique and common to women. She advocates preventive health. healthy lifestyles, bone health, gynecologic cancer screen healthy pregnancy. She discusses issues on contraception, infections, menopausal and postmenopausal care, sexual dysfunction. She does work-ups on menstrual disorders (PCOs, endometriosis, chronic pain, etc) and infertility.
She performs ob-gyn procedures such as deliveries, complicated and uncomplicated. In the office she performs biopsies, colposcopy, IUD and contraceptive implant insertion. She is proficient in hysteroscopy, D&C, endometrlal ablation, Japaroscopy and abdominal surgeries.
On her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Jennifer Hawkins, MS, PA-C
Jennifer is a board certified Physician Assistant and is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston MA. With 14 years of experience in all aspects of women’s healthcare, Jennifer specializes in adolescent gynecology and obstetrics but is experienced in seeing women of all ages. She performs many in office procedures including colposcopies, IUD insertions/removals, and endometrial biopsies.
She is originally from Long Island, NY and like volunteering at local schools on bullying and mental health awareness. She has a passion for photography and writing poetry.
Rachel Grencavich, CNM
As a BS graduate of Villanova University School of Nursing and a CNM graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Midwifery, Rachel has a broad background in Maternal Child Healthcare. She thoroughly enjoys the working with patients in need of gynecology, pregnancy and labor, surgical care, and healthcare planning services.
Rachel is involved in community health issues, building healthier families through the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies initiative, reducing Cesarean births, adolescent health and wellness, natural birth, breastfeeding, postpartum and post menstrual syndrome issues, menopause, pelvic pain concerns and familial cancer screening.
