Rio Brodeur is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor who earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University. She has worked in community mental health, education, and substance abuse treatment. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and providing therapy to individuals, groups, and families. Because Rio understands that each client is unique she utilizes an eclectic approach, drawing from different treatment modalities such as Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavior and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CBT/CPT), Somatic Experiencing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She helps individuals cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness and gain new skills to better cope with emotional distress and life’s never-ending curveballs. Rio views her work with clients as being collaborative, offering support (and the occasional challenge) with warmth and a touch of humor.
Rio resides in New Jersey with her spouse and their 2 year-old Labrador Retriever rescue, Delilah. In her spare time you can find her working out, at the dog park, or binge watching the newest true crime series.
Axia Women’s Health is proud to partner with Linqcare, 0ffering mental health support and resources to our patients.
