Courtney Ellis is a certified nurse midwife who grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. While growing up she spent time in Georgetown, Kentucky where her grandparents owned the Covington Grocery store in Stamping Ground.
Courtney completed her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Bellarmine University. While studying at Bellarmine, she was the university mascot. In addition, Courtney went on to graduate from Frontier Nursing University where she received her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery. She also completed clinical training at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Courtney is board certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and has additional certifications in RNC-OB (inpatient obstetrics) and C-EFM (fetal monitoring).
Courtney and her husband Johnathan currently live in Louisville and enjoy playing soccer and singing in the choir together. In her free time Courtney enjoys playing the cello and mentoring the next generation of obstetric nurses and nursing students.
Courtney is currently accepting new patients at the Baptist Campus location.
