Richard Michner, MD, received his BS degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his medical degree from the Universidad Sutonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed a four-year residency program in OB/GYN at Roosevelt Hospital in affiliation with Columbia University in New York City where he was Chief Resident. With his passion for teaching, Dr. Michner taught residents in ob/gyn from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He was an Adjunct Professor at Atlantic Cape Community College and currently serves as a clinical preceptor for the PA program at Arcadia University. He is a member of the North American Menopause Society and has been a past president of the medical staff at Cape Regional Medical Cener and of the Cape May County Medical Society.
Dr. Michner is active in the community as a member of the Healthy Moms and Healthy Babies Coalition and the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Board for Cape May, Atlantic, and Cumberland counties. Dr. Michner enjoys living at the Jersey shore and playing golf. He especially treasures the time he can spend with his grandchildren.
