Read MoreDr. Tepper completed his undergraduate training at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He received his medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed an OB/GYN residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, also in Philadelphia. He chose OB/GYN as a specialty because he was drawn to the exciting nature of the field, the opportunity to care for women throughout their lifetimes, and the mix of primary care and surgery unique to OB/GYN. In residency, he received several awards, including an award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, the Penn Pearls medical student teaching award, and an award for the best residency research project, on using Enhanced Recovery After Surgery pathways to decrease opioid usage after c-section.
Dr. Tepper’s areas of interest and expertise include both high-risk and low-risk obstetrics, family planning and contraceptive management, both minimally invasive and open gynecologic surgery, management of menopause, and most importantly, the provision of individualized, compassionate, and empathic care to women. He currently lives with his wife and young daughter in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In his free time he likes to spend time with his family and friends. He also enjoys cooking, traveling, golfing, following his favorite sports teams, and completing an ever-expanding list of DIY projects at home.
