Shannon M. Weaver, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC, joined the Dinesen family in 2021 with three years of midwifery experience and seven years of nursing experience.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware where she had the opportunity to travel to South Africa to work with midwives and local women to share knowledge and resources surrounding women’s health and obstetrics. While in South Africa, Shannon had the opportunity to catch her very first newborn, which sparked Shannon’s desire to one day become a midwife herself.

While working as a labor and delivery nurse in Philadelphia, Shannon completed a dual Master of Science in Nursing program in Nurse-Midwifery and Women’s Health & Gender Related Nurse Practitioner studies from the University of Pennsylvania. She is certified both as a Nurse Midwife and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Shannon and her husband share a love for traveling and wed in Mexico in February 2019. They currently reside in Lambertville, NJ with their daughter, Cecilia, and golden retriever.
