Prior to becoming a midwife, Renee Wisniski received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Boston College and began her career working in a shelter for battered women. From there she decided to enter Nursing School and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University in New York. Renee practiced as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years and then decided that she wanted to advocate for women and their families and provide full-scope care to better serve her patients. With that, she obtained her Midwifery Degree from Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Renee is extremely passionate about Women’s Health and the Nursing profession and has explored many of its opportunities including legal nurse consulting, nursing education, nursing administration, and even starting her own small business as a nurse cosmetic injector.
In her free time, Renee loves staying fit through CrossFit, restoring old furniture, and being a Dog Mom to her mini doodle, Emmet.
