Shelly has held many roles during her nursing career including serving as a bedside nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager and Manager of the Labor and Delivery department at a large, local South Jersey hospital. She then transitioned to the role of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner approximately six years ago, after completing her master’s degree in Nursing through the University of Cincinnati’s online program. She cares for both OB and GYN patients throughout all phases of life—which includes well care for OB and GYN patients, pre and postnatal care, IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal, colposcopy and endometrial biopsy.

Shelly lives in Southern New Jersey, about five miles from where she grew up, with her husband and three dogs. She has two grown children and will become a first-time grandparent soon. Shelly loves the beach, reading a good romance novel, and likes to relax listening to the waves crash on the shoreline.
