Dr. Katherine Frys completed her undergraduate studies at The College of Charleston, earning degrees in Biology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry. She then pursued a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident, showcasing her leadership and expertise.
Before her medical career, Dr. Frys worked as a Senior Research Technician at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and as a Research Assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her research, particularly in neuroscience and hormonal regulation, has been published in several respected journals. She has received multiple awards for her contributions to medical education and her performance as a resident. She is an active member of ACOG, NJAOPS, AOA, and was involved with the SFN during her research years.
Dr. Frys is committed to providing comprehensive and empathetic care to her patients. She utilizes her in-depth knowledge and research background to offer the best possible treatments and support for women’s health issues.
