Jamie Barkmeyer was born and raised in East Norriton, PA. She began her nursing career in 2007, after graduating from Gwynedd Mercy University, and spent eight years working in Oncology and GYN/Oncology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
In 2015, Jamie earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Drexel University and is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Since she was a young child, Jamie has always wanted to be a nurse. Throughout her life, she was inspired by many strong women and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners. This sparked her passion for women’s health.
Jamie and her husband live in Montgomery County with their four children. She enjoys vacationing in Ocean City, NJ, volunteering with local youth sports, and reading.
