Dr. Lauren Beaven grew up in Georgetown, Kentucky and is happy to be serving the women in her home state. Dr. Beaven graduated from Georgetown College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and completed her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky. She completed her residency at the University of Kentucky Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been caring for the women in central Kentucky for the last 12 years. In addition, she previously served as an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Beaven provides pregnancy care with a focus on medically complicated patients including those with diabetes, high blood pressure, multiples, recurrent losses, and other health issues. She is currently accepting new patients. You can schedule an appointment with Dr. Beaven without a referral, unless it is required by your insurance.
Dr. Beaven currently lives in the Hamburg area with her husband Andrew, their son Cooper, and their two standard schnauzers, Lucy and Milly. In her free time, Dr. Beaven loves all things baking – cookies, cakes, cupcakes, pastry, bread, and pies and hopes to one day have a bakery of her own. She also enjoys CrossFit and is a member of the local CrossFit gym. Dr. Beaven is currently accepting new patients.
