Dr. Chervenak takes great pride in maintaining a personal touch within an ever changing world of healthcare. He has delivered the vast majority of his own obstetrical patient’s new bundles! He also has one of the lowest cesarean section rate while delivering the most babies as an solo practitioner at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for the past few years. Dr. Chervenak received a combined BA/MD Degree from the Boston University Accelerated Medical Program.
He has also received a BA in psychology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He serves on several committees at Saint Barnabas Medical Center ranging from Quality Assurance and Perinatal Review to Resident Selection Committee. Dr. Chervenak is a national leader for women’s rights and ability to obtain health care.
