Melissa Danko Headshot

"It is an incredible privilege to care for patients throughout all stages of their lives. I love being able to share heart and compassion with my patients through both big and small moments!"

Melissa Danko, MD

Specialties: Obstetrics, Gynecology

Dr. Melissa Danko is a Michigan native who grew up in a small town just outside Ann Arbor, MI. She attended college at the University of Michigan where she graduated with honors distinction with a major in biology and a minor in writing. After college, she moved to Philadelphia where she joined the National Health Corps and spent a year volunteering at a federally qualified health center to assist patients with insurance enrollment. During her year in Philadelphia, she also volunteered at various organizations throughout the city.

Dr. Danko returned to her home state to attend medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, where she served as president of the OBGYN Interest Group and was an active member of aptly named musical groups DocAppella and the Spinal Chords. She then returned to Philadelphia to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Temple University Hospital. During her residency, she served on the Graduate Medical Education Committee and participated in her program’s residency recruitment and selection process for incoming residents.

Dr. Danko lives in Philadelphia and enjoys exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, baking all kinds of sweets, and traveling to new places.
