Dr. Joan Devine joined McConnell & Associates OB/GYN in 2011. She is a graduate of Penn State University. Dr Devine attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical degree. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Lankaneu Medical Center.
Dr. Devine has co-authored a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and co-presented a poster at the Society for Obstetrics Anesthesia and Perinatology Meeting in 2010.
Dr. Devine practices both obstetrics and gynecology. Her patient approach includes listening and understanding her patients’ overall wellness and health issues. Her interests include medical processes during pregnancy and preventive care. Dr. Devine offers office procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, hysteroscopy, and ultrasound. She also has a strong interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and performs DaVinci robotic surgery.
Dr. Devine is married and has two sons. She enjoys reading, cooking, and outdoor activities.
