Dr. Joan Devine joined McConnell & Associates OB/GYN in 2011.  She graduated from Penn State University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006.  She completed her OB/GYN residency at Lankaneu Medical Center.  Dr. Devine has co-authored a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and co-presented a poster at the Society for Obstetrics Anesthesia and Perinatology Meeting in 2010.  Dr. Devine practices both low- and high-risk obstetrics as well as gynecology.  Her patient approach includes listening and understanding her patients’ overall wellness and health issues.  Her interests include medical processes during pregnancy and preventive care.  Dr. Devine offers office procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, hysteroscopy, and ultrasound.  She also has a strong interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Devine also enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
