Heidi has been practicing as a licensed professional in the field of mental health and substance abuse since 2007. She holds degrees from Ohio universities including a Bachelor of Social Work from Youngstown State University and a Master of Social Work from a Joint Degree program with the University of Akron and Cleveland State University since 2003.
Since 2016, Heidi has been a practicing psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and operational leader directing the opening of several in person and tele-health-based clinics across the state of Ohio, including the Serenity Center of Youngstown, LLC., I AM Boundless; Eleanor Health and Harmony Bay Medical, which is a subsidiary of Advantage Behavioral Health.
Heidi has had a variety of experiences throughout her professional career as a Social Worker but has made her primary practice around assisting others affected by mental health and substance use disorders. She has taught many interns from various mental health disciplines as well as been a guest lecturer and Adjunct Professor at a local university to continue to help educate others on the need for awareness and stigma reduction.
In her spare time, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys listening to music, reading and is a lifelong learner, as well as keeping busy with her four small dogs, Archer, Theresa, Lily and Rosy.
