Kate is a southside native born and raised in Greenwood, IN. She is a graduate of Center Grove High School.  Kate received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Indiana University and her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky.

Prior to practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife, Kate was a Labor and Delivery nurse for 6 years at various hospitals in Indiana, Florida, Virginia, and Washington DC.

In her free time, Kate enjoys reading, drinking coffee, traveling, and spending time with her family. She lives with her husband, two young children, and two black cats.
