Dr. Robert Penney has more than 30 years of experiences and has dedicated his career to bringing cutting edge advances in women’s healthcare to Central New Jersey. As the pioneer in robotic surgery at Riverview Medical Center, Dr. Penney has championed the robotics program. Currently, as the Director of Robotic Surgery, the program has grown exponentially under his stewardship.
Information technology has been a passion of Dr. Penney’s for more than 20 years, and as a result, Holmdel OB/GYN Associates was the first to adopt electronic medical records in Monmouth County. As much as he is involved in the advances that surround healthcare, he remains committed to caring for mom and baby through childbirth.
Dr. Penney has published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been voted a Top Doctor in New Jersey Magazine for the last five years. He is a member of the medical executive committee at Riverview Medical Center and an at-large member for Hackensack Meridian Health partners, as well as a lead physician for Axia Woman’s Health.
