John Vaughns, MD, MS, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN. Dr. Vaughns graduated with High Honors with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2009 and a master’s degree in Chemistry in 2010 from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. He earned his Medical Degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA.
He went on to complete his residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. Dr. Vaughns served as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Army between 2014 and 2022. He served as a staff physician at Carl R. Darnall Medical Center at Fort Hood in Texas from 2018 to 2021. He then served as a staff physician and clinic chief for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson in Colorado from 2021 to 2022.
In 2022, he moved to Monmouth County, New Jersey where his wife was born and raised. His wife is also an OB/GYN and served in the Army. They have two daughters and enjoy the shore lifestyle.
