Jesse Clayton, MD

Provider Specialties
Obstetrics, Gynecology
Jesse was born and raised in a small college-town in the middle of the heartland—Lawrence, Kansas. He ventured east to Pennsylvania in 2013 to follow his wife’s career, and there he completed his studies in Biology at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He continued on to study medicine at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Jesse had initially considered himself naturally suited for primary care, given his friendly and easy-going demeanor, but he fell in love with Obstetrics and Gynecology. Jesse is passionate about OBGYN because it offers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of women’s health, and it uniquely provides the privilege of being by his patient’s sides during the joy of obstetrics.
After medical school, he did his residency training at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY, where he furthered his passion for women’s health.
Jesse and his wife have three children who keep them very busy but bring them all the joy in the world. Jesse likes to lead an active lifestyle and with his remaining time, he loves to get outside and read.
