Marianne K.Herrighty, MD is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She attended West Chester University in Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology. She then attended UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School (now Rutgers – NJMS) and graduated in 1995. She completed her residence in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ in 1999.
Since completing her residency, Dr. Herrighty has worked both in private practice and academic medicine. Previous to joining our practice, she was an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Herrighty’s interests in OB/GYN include both normal and complicated pregnancies, as well as educating the patient and families about the latest available options for screening/genetic testing that is available to help ensure an uncomplicated delivery of a healthy child. In addition, she is interested in benign gynecology across the reproductive years as well as the latest forms of family planning options, including IUD insertion. She also has over 18 years of experience performing major and minor gynecologic surgery, as well as laparoscopic surgery.
In her spare time, Dr. Herrighty enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and shuttling them to their many activities.
Dr. Herrighty is fluent in English and Spanish.
