Rhiannon Mayes, D.O. was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. She is a proud graduate from the University of Kentucky where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency at the University of Kentucky -Bowling Green.
Dr. Mayes enjoys forming relationships with her patients and their families and caring for them throughout all stages of their life. She is committed to women’s preventative health services, preconception counseling, general gynecology, contraceptive management, treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, pregnancy care and delivery and has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including use of the da Vinci Robot.
In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, going to movies, playing piano, and enjoying time with her family and new husband.
Dr. Mayes is thrilled to begin practicing in Lexington, giving back to the community where she grew up and providing excellent women’s healthcare.
