During your pregnancy we will obtain multiple tests. Some of these tests are standard for all patients, some are based on personal background, and some are completely optional. This page is to notify you of the tests that will be done routinely, and the tests that can be done based on your requests.

 

Routine Standard Testing for all OB Patients
CBC (Complete Blood Count) Syphilis Screening
Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Blood Type and Rh status
Antibody Screen HIV Screening
Rubella Immunity Hepatitis C
Urine Drug Screen Urinalysis and Urine Culture
Gonorrhea/Chlamydia Culture Gestational Diabetes Glucose Screen
Group B Strep Culture Additional testing as indicated by medical history

Cystic Fibrosis Carrier Testing Fragile X Syndrome Carrier Screen
SMA Testing Tay-Sachs Carrier Screen
Expanded Carrier Testing Ashkenazi Jewish Panel (Based on history)

Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening MSAFP (Maternal Serum Alpha-Fetoprotein)
Maternal Quad Screen First Trimester Screen (Nuchal translucency and labs)
Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) Amniocentesis
