Michael Petit serves as Chief Financial Officer for Axia Women’s Health, where he leads the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and administration. With extensive experience in private equity–backed healthcare organizations, Mike brings a proven track record of driving growth, operational excellence, and transformative value.
Before joining Axia, Mike held a succession of Chief Financial Officer roles in areas such as Cardiology, Urgent Care, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology. This included a successful role in the nation’s first PE-backed cardiology platform, where he helped pioneer innovative models in value-based care and expand access through new lines of service and ambulatory surgical centers across multiple markets. Mike also served as Chief Financial Officer for the Northeast’s premier urgent care group, leading aggressive growth through acquisitions, de novos, and new service lines—including telemedicine and advanced laboratory programs—culminating in a successful sale to Bain Capital in 2021. Earlier in his career, Mike also served as CFO for the Northeast’s largest private equity–backed dermatology practice, where he supported expansion across five states.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Bentley University. He currently resides in Massachusetts with his wife and their three children.
