Dr. Lauren Campbell was raised in the Philadelphia suburbs in Chester County, PA. She attended college at the University of Pittsburgh. While completing a degree in Chemistry, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude. In college, she volunteered at UPMC and worked as a campus tour guide for prospective students. She returned to the Philadelphia region to attend medical school at Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College at TJU).
Dr. Campbell stayed at Jefferson to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was elected to the resident chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and received multiple other awards including the Dr. B. Frank Lovett Award for Compassion and Excellence in the Medical Care of Women, the Resident Research Award, and the RYAN Program Resident Award for Excellence in Family Planning. During her final year of residency, she served as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Campbell enjoys traveling, fitness, reading, spending time with friends and family, and cheering for favorite team, the Eagles.
