Dr. Perrin Downing is a board-certified physician specializing in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Downing is from Wilmington, Delaware. She graduated with honors from Haverford College where she studied Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (formerly Medical College of Virginia). She then completed her four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abington Jefferson Health. Following residency, she completed a three-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She is a member of several professional societies, has presented her research at many national conferences, and is an avid volunteer within her community. She is also a reviewer for the scientific journal Urogynecology.
Dr. Downing is a dedicated physician who offers compassionate and personalized care. She shares “women come to us with problems that impact their daily life and then we help them take back the life that they deserve. We make women’s lives better and I can’t image a better job!”
When Dr. Downing isn’t working she enjoys going to the park with her Husband and rescue dog named Avon Barksdale. She also loves baking, traveling, and cheering for Philadelphia sports!
