Gillian Goree, NP

Provider Specialties
Obstetrics, Gynecology
Gillian Goree was born and raised in Virginia, about 15 minutes outside of Washington, D.C. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University and worked as a Registered Nurse on a Pediatric Transplant floor at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. While there, she earned Nurse of the Year, an award that recognizes a nurse who provides high quality, thorough, and compassionate patient-focused care. As a bedside nurse, she discovered an instant connection with her female adolescent patients, which ultimately lead her to women’s health. Gillian moved to Philadelphia and pursued a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, she helped teach undergraduate nursing students in their women’s health classes.
Gillian is Board Certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation and is an active member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. Gillian lives in Philadelphia and enjoys volunteering in the city and traveling with friends and family as much as possible. She’s an avid runner, completing her first marathon in 2023, and loves spending her free time reading, cooking, and watching sports.
