Dr. Henderson began his medical education at the State University of New York at Farmingdale, where he graduated with a nursing AAS degree in 1974. He went on to earn a bachelor of science as a physician assistant in 1977 and worked as a surgical assistant until 1989. He then decided to get his medical degree at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, New York, graduating in 1993. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Shore, New Jersey, in 1997.
Dr. Henderson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he’s also been a fellow since 2001. He’s active in the medical community, serving as a proud member of the New Jersey Laborist Group and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He’s also the director of Gynecologic Robotic Surgery Quality Assurance at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, and a robotic surgeon at Monmouth Medical Center.
Outside of medical work, Dr. Henderson is an active board member at Monmouth University and likes to spend his time coaching soccer and skiing.
