Dr. Hughes began her career as an undergraduate at Purdue University, graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine, and completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her prestigious awards and honors include Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Floyd T Romberger Teaching Award, and Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She has served as the Chair of the OB/GYN Department at St. Vincent’s for the past 5 years and has been an active member of the Professional Affairs Committee. In 2020, she received the prestigious President’s Award from Ascension St. Vincent.
Dr. Hughes loves all things Purdue, as well as camping and boating. She is married with two children, two beloved Labrador retrievers, and a flock of chickens. Her specialties include High Risk Pregnancy and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Hughes is accepting new patients at the Indianapolis North and Zionsville Care Centers.
