Dr. Lu was born in Lakewood, California, and spent her early childhood in Cambodia before returning to the United States at the age of eight. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine, and her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Lu is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Since 1998, Dr. Lu has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to women in the Montgomery County area. She takes a holistic approach to women’s health, caring for patients from adolescence through menopause. Her clinical interests include adolescent menstrual disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome, irregular uterine bleeding, peri-menopausal and menopausal health, and osteopenia/osteoporosis. Dr. Lu offers both minimally invasive and traditional surgical procedures and is honored to support women in their health journeys.
Dr. Lu lives in Montgomery County with her husband, Doug. Her two children attend college in Virginia, and her family has also sponsored four nieces from Cambodia, all of whom have earned degrees from American universities and are active members of their communities. In her free time, she enjoys jogging, yoga, and spending time with her family.
