Dr. Sara Nicholas is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist (Perinatologist) with a special interest in prematurity, fetal diagnosis, multiple gestation, and maternal medical conditions that complicate pregnancy. Dr. Nicholas graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University, and then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson Univsity. Dr. Nicholas is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member in the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Dr. Nicholas is married with three young children.
