Dr. Kirit Patel

Dr. Kirit Patel is broadly known for his compassion and clinical expertise. He is dedicated to the local community and to his patients.

He completed his medical education at BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. Subsequently, he finished specialized obstetrics and gynecology training in India before transitioning to UMDNJ (now Rutgers NJMS); where he was chief resident in 1987. Dr. K Patel began his private practice in Edison, NJ and has continued to serve the community since. Outside of his busy practice he is actively involved in his local temple. He has a loving wife and two sons – the elder has joined him in OB/GYN practice and the younger is a successful lawyer.

As a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Patel is a member of many professional societies including the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
