Lauren Thornton, WHNP-BC

Lauren Thornton is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University School of Nursing and completed her master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati.

Lauren has a passion for obstetrics and previously worked in Labor and Delivery at St. Vincent Carmel and then in Columbus, OH for 8 years. . In addition to obstetrics, Lauren specializes in preconception counseling, prenatal education, preventative women’s health, adolescent gynecology, and contraceptive management.

Lauren grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana and is married her high school sweetheart, Nathan. Together they have 3 children and two very energetic goldendoodles. In her free time, she enjoys baking, spending time with family and friends, and being outside.

Lauren is currently accepting patients at our OB/GYN of Indiana Carmel office.
