Dr. Jie Xu is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After obtaining an Honors Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biology and Psychology, he traveled to the Netherland-Antilles for his M.D. He then completed his OB/GYN residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, Drexel University College of Medicine program, serving as their Administrative Chief in his final year. He joined Riddle Memorial Hospital after graduation and established a busy practice, even serving as the department Chief since November 2020. Over the years, he has gained numerous awards and recognition, including more recently the 2023 Physician Excellence Award and 2023 PA Top Doc award.

He resides in Wayne with his wife and children and enjoys spending time with family and staying active with exercise.
