Dr. Caroline Goodchild is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. While a trainee at Jefferson, she received several awards and honors including the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award from the Arnold Gold Foundation as well as the B. Frank Lovett Award for Compassion and Excellence in the Care of Women, the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award, and the Sarah G. Miller Award for General Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology. While at Jefferson, Dr. Goodchild served as the Administrative Chief Resident of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and as a volunteer with JeffHOPE (Health, Opportunities, Prevention, Education) in the capacity of Finance Director and medical volunteer. She also served as the Co-Chair of Jefferson Adopt-A-Mom Program and on the Jefferson Medical College Admissions Committee. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Goodchild received her Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University. She then worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Endocrinology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York and as a Development Coordinator at Cabrini Medical Center and The Arthritis Foundation, New York Chapter. Dr. Goodchild currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband and daughter. She enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with friends and family.
