In 1996, Dorothy joined the faculty of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program as a full time faculty member and Program Coordinator of the PPFA Advance Practice Clinician Colposcopy Program, a position she held until 2009 when the colposcopy program was transitioned to Drexel University.
In addition to her academic career, she continued clinical practice as a nurse practitioner and nurse colposcopist with Dr. Neil Isdaner at Jeane’s Hospital for twelve years. From 2007 through 2009, she practiced at the OB/GYN Clinic at Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s Health Clinic in Willingboro, NJ, before coming to Garden State OB/GYN.
Dorothy was born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, of which she takes great pride and enjoyment in her cultural heritage. She now lives in Voorhees with her husband Rob, a Mechanical Engineer for the Navy Department, their son Robert, and their cat Bella. As a family they enjoy boating, the shore, and gatherings with family and friends.
