Dr. Suzanne Pugh is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and was a staff attending OB/GYN physician at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia until she completed her military service in August 2012 . She also worked at the United States Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy from 2008-2011 where she was listed as a top five Navy Medicine provider ranked for OB/GYN patient satisfaction and was Chair of the Perinatal Advisory Board. Dr. Pugh graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Biochemistry from Bucknell Universtiy, followed by her medical degree at the Wake Forest University of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Pugh received the Obstetrical & Gynecology Merit award and the Richard T. Myers Surgical Merit Award and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her OB/GYN internship and residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.

Dr. Pugh is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and her work has appeared in research studies and publications such as The Obstetrics and Gynecology International and The Journal of the Mississippi State Medical Association.
