Heather Cates is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Midwifery and Women’s Health from the University of Pennsylvania and has dedicated her career to empowering women through all stages of life with personalized, patient-centered care.
Heather’s expertise spans full-scope midwifery, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological services in both outpatient and hospital settings. A passionate advocate for physiologic birth practices, she has also mentored students and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Beyond clinical care, Heather is active in professional and community initiatives, chairing programs on adolescent health and advocating for inclusivity in women’s healthcare. Her dedication reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing the health and well-being of women and their families.
