"The best part of my job is helping women feel supported, informed, and empowered in their care."
Advah earned her BSN from New York University and her MSN in Midwifery from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. Her own birth experience at a birth center, along with her time volunteering at a women’s health clinic and birth center in Uganda and working as a Doula in NYC has inspired her to pursue midwifery as her calling.
For the past ten years, Advah has practiced midwifery in a birth center setting, supporting women through natural birth, providing education throughout pregnancy and postpartum, and offering comprehensive gynecologic care across all ages. She loves caring for clients and feels honored to be part of their birth journeys.
Advah lives in Philadelphia with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring nature, and spending time with her husband and two children.
