Group Therapy

Services
This virtual group therapy opportunity is for Valley Forge OB/GYN patients and is designed to provide new mothers with a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to discuss the emotional, physical, and practical challenges that follow childbirth. The goal is to reduce feelings of isolation, increase emotional well-being, and connect moms with consistent support and guidance.
The group is led by an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in post-partum mental health and has extensive training in all topics covered. This ensures the group is clinically informed, compassionate, supportive and judgement-free.
In this group, we’ll cover:
- How to handle anxiety and depression
- Overcoming breastfeeding challenges
- How to fit self-care in your busy schedule
- Navigating grief over losing pre-baby identity or lifestyle
- Improving your self-esteem and loving your postpartum body
- Handling sleep difficulties and infant sleep regression
- Tips to balance the needs of other children
