Zachary Candela - Axia Women's Health

Dr. Candela was born in Ohio, but has spent his adult life throughout Pennsylvania. He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania for undergraduate with a bachelors degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. He was the recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program through the United States Air Force. He obtained his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in OBGYN at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He served 8 years of active duty service in the United States Air Force. He received an honorable discharge in June 2026 after spending the past 4 years in Ramstein, Germany and having achieved the rank of Major.

When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, playing golf, traveling and playing guitar.
