Dr Cumbo was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania in a small town called Wyoming. She graduated magna cum laude from Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, PA where she played division III softball. She earned her medical degree and master’s degree in adult education from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
She graduated from residency at Hackensack Meridian Health’s Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ as Chief Resident and earned recognition with teaching, research, and patient safety awards. She is trained in laparoscopic surgery and robotic-assisted surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System, allowing her to offer advanced, minimally invasive treatment options for her patients. She also has special clinical interest in pregnancy and childbirth, with additional training in ultrasound, vaginal birth after cesarean, Spinning Babies, and TeamBirth.
Dr Cumbo currently resides in Chester County with her husband and their dog, and loves spending time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys baking cookies and bread, skiing, reading a good book and listening to Taylor Swift.
