Nicole Waetzman is a nurse practitioner who specializes in urogynecology and is the director of the bladder and pelvic health outreach program. She is a certified family nurse practitioner with over 22 years of clinical experience in women’s health. Nicole is additionally board-certified as a urology nurse practitioner by the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She then earned her MSN from the Nurse Practitioner Program at Drexel University, where she was awarded The Most Outstanding Nurse Practitioner Student in her class.

Prior to joining Axia in 2019, Nicole worked as a labor and delivery nurse for many years. She started her nurse practitioner career working in an OB/GYN practice and then transitioned to a urology practice expanding her clinical skills and interest in urogynecology. She treats patients with various urologic and gynecologic conditions including incontinence, frequent UTIs, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction.
