Sarah Bechay, DO, specializes in a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic care. She has a background in pharmaceutical and healthcare studies and completed medical school at Rowan University.
During her residency, Dr. Sarah Bechay was Academic Chief Resident and was awarded Resident of the Year by Atlantic Health System. She was honored with the Excellence in Obstetrics Award two years in a row as well as the Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Urogynecologic Society. Dr. Bechay is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Bechay also has a passion for international medical mission work helping underserved woman across the world. She has worked with the Christian Medical and Dental Association in the Dominican Republic, with Unidad Hospitalaria Movil Latino America (UHMLA) in Guatemala, and with Coptic Medical Association of North America (CMANA).
When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Bechay enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog, serving her Coptic Orthodox Church Community, the outdoors, reading, travel, and attending sporting events.
