Dr. Donald Cannon was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated with a degree in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1994, where he played varsity football. He received his Medical Degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., in 2001. Dr. Cannon completed his residency at the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Cannon is a board-certified member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Cannon specializes in Robotic Hysterectomies.
