Tobi Hough MD

Provider Specialties
Obstetrics, High Risk Pregnancy
Dr. Hough grew up in Shelby County and has been blessed to serve the women of Indiana as an OB/GYN for over 25 years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Franklin College before completing medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. During her training, she authored and presented multiple research papers, with her work published in a peer-reviewed medical journal. She spent 18 years in private practice, where she was deeply committed to caring for women across every stage of life and found great joy in educating and encouraging women through community Women’s Health events.
In 2019, Dr. Hough transitioned into the role of high-risk obstetrical hospitalist, where she has the privilege of walking alongside women and their families during some of the most complex and meaningful moments of pregnancy. Guided by her faith, she is passionate about providing compassionate, steady care rooted in both clinical excellence and genuine empathy. She looks forward to joining Axia and continuing to serve expectant mothers experiencing complications of pregnancy with skill and a heart for ministry through medicine. Dr. Hough lives in Indianapolis with her husband, James, and four of their six children, and treasures time with her four grandchildren, who lovingly call her “Mumsy.” Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and racquet sports.
