Dr. Lindsay Lazarus is a Philadelphia native who grew up in the suburb of Devon, PA. She attended college at the George Washington University in Washington, DC where she studied Biology and Psychology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with Dean’s List honors. She then returned to her home of Philadelphia to attend medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine. In medical school she received many academic and clinical honors, including the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Award as well as the Peer Award for Professional Behavior. Dr. Lazarus graduated medical school as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She then stayed at Drexel to begin her OB/GYN residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. Upon the unexpected closure of Hahnemann Hospital, she then continued and completed her residency down the street at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In residency she received the OB/GYN Medical Student Teaching Award.
Dr. Lazarus continues to live in center city Philadelphia. She enjoys cooking, reading, running, exploring restaurants, spending time with friends and family, making visits down the shore, and cheering on her Philadelphia Eagles.
