Dana Mahlab, DO graduated from the University of Michigan, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then attended the George Washington University, School of Public Health and Services, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Mahlab is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Mahlab has a strong interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures. She has a particular interest in
laparoscopic procedures, including expertise in robotic assisted hypterectomies. During her residency, Dr. Mahlab was awarded the Rosenfeld Scholar Award, Innovator Circle Grant, and Resident Teaching Award. She was also awarded the
role of Chief Resident at Abington Memorial Hospital.
