Stephanie McKnight, MD, FOMA

Provider Specialties
Weight Management
Dr. Stephanie McKnight graduated from Washington and Lee University with a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in Biology before attending Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Lancaster General Hospital with a concentration in Women’s Health in 2007. After 5 years of treating patients with chronic diseases, like high blood pressure and diabetes, she realized that despite prescribing the “right” medications, the conditions almost always got worse with time, requiring even more medication. She went looking for a better way to approach metabolic disease and found it with the help of the Obesity Medicine Association! She became certified in Obesity Medicine in 2012 and has been treating Obesity first ever since.
Dr. McKnight lives in Montgomery County with her husband and 4 children and enjoys coaching youth soccer in her free time.
