Joseph L. Milio, DO FACOOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN. He earned his BS degree from Michigan State Univ. and his medial degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He received the prestigious Health Profession Scholarship Program for his medical education.
Dr. Milio completed his internship and residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital-Univ. Medical Center in OB/GYN. He served as chief intern and chief resident. After residency, he was proud to serve his country in the US Air Force at the 90th Strategic Hospital, achieving the rank of Major. While serving, he was chief of OB/GYN for three years and took advanced trauma training during Operation Desert Storm.
After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Milio has been in practice in Cape May for almost 30 years. He has become a vital member of the community and has delivered thousands of babies! His leadership qualities are exemplified by being chief of OB/GYN for and unprecedented 20 years and currently serving as Medical Staff president, as well as, on the Cape Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees.
Dr. Milio’s professional points of interest includes high risk Ob and minimally invasive surgery. He has received numerous accolades from his patients over the years and has a nearly perfect 5-star rating on Web MD. He is an active member of the American College of OB/GYNs and the Cape May County Osteopathic Association. He has also served on his church Vestry several times.
Dr. Milio is proud to have raised two amazing sons, which he considers his biggest accomplishment!
